14th May 2020 - ZEDI now supports Amazon MWS reports
As part of its continual development, ZEDI has been updated with functions that allow Amazon MWS reports to be automatically scheduled and downloaded.
This is particularly useful to FBA sellers who need to automate the handling of report data.
One application of this is to convert the report data into an SQL script that can be used to populate a set of tables on SQL server. The information can then be easily queried to extract the information the business needs.
1-May-2020 - ZEDI now includes an HTTP+XML gateway
The HTTP+XML gateway allows CargoWise users to securely accept requests for information from their trading partners’ systems.
Instead of sharing the same logon credentials, each trading partner is assigned their own unique ID and password. When these are setup, the trading partner is also given a set of permissions which determines the list of HTTP+XML functions they’re able to use.
The trading partner sends their request to ZEDI which checks their credentials and ensures that the request they’re making is permitted. If everything is good, the request is relayed to your CargoWise system and the response is passed back to the trading partner.
